Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market is Edmonton’s biggest, original, indoor farmers’ market. Located just off historic Whyte Ave, we’ve been operating every Saturday since 1983 and now on Sundays year-round.
With Edmonton’s finest assortment of vendors, we have thousands of fantastic locally grown and produced goods. We are committed to providing small, independent, local businesses a venue to showcase their locally made products.

Market Buds Program! – Interview with a Farmer!
How it works:
- Come to the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market on the first weekend of each month (Saturday 8am-3pm | Sunday 11am-3pm)
- Find our Market Buds table (by the Café area)
- Complete the activity (a different one each month)
- Receive a Market Bud Token (worth $5) to spend that day at a vendor’s booth
Market Bud activities are best suited for children aged 4-12 years old. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
