Grey Owl Meadery is searching for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to represent and sell our mead products at the Old Strathcona Farmers Market.

 

The duties include providing tastings of our products, assisting customers in making purchases, handling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining the overall appeal of the market stall.
Training will be provided to learn about our products, processes, and the background of our company.

 

Year-round employment Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm; Sunday 9:30am-3:30pm

 

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Be of legal age to serve liquor and possess or able to obtain an Alberta Pro Serve licence
• Experience in retail, sales, or related field preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift cases of wine/mead
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people
• Availability to work weekends

El Chorizo is looking for a motivated seller to work their stall at the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market on Saturdays and Sundays! Sales bonuses, free sausages, and snacksticks. What’s not to like! If you’re reliable and looking to learn, we have a spot for you. Opportunity to work more hours doing demos, working at our shop, or at our restaurant/catering (bonus if you have line or pizza experience).
