Winter Whyte Light Up festival is back on Saturday, November 30th!
We’re getting into the holiday spirit with the Winter Whyte Light Up.
We’re proud to partner with the Old Strathcona Business Association for this free, family-friendly event. Join in the festivities at Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park and along 83rd Ave. Come and enjoy the live entertainment, light installations, streetcar rides, story time, crafts, food, and more!

- @ Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park, Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market, Edmonton Public Library Strathcona Branch, Fringe Theater
Stop by and take the opportunity to warm up, do some shopping, and grab a bite to eat while enjoying some of the Winter Whyte Light Up activities on location at OSFM.
The usual Saturday market will close at 3 PM and re-open again at 4 PM with a smaller selection of vendors (rows 3 and 4).
- Our kitchen, Paperbirch, will be open and serving eventgoers until 8 PM
- Restrooms will be open to the public.
Socks & Mitts to Support the Old Strathcona Youth Society
Beginning this Saturday, we will be collecting donations of
- Hand and foot warmers
- Thin black gloves
- Non-knit toques
- Balaclavas and neck warmers
- New or lightly used backpacks
- New socks and underwear
for the Old Strathcona Youth Society all month long and appreciate all donations.
