We are so excited to share our Indigenous-inspired logo created by local artist, Conrad Plews!
His inspiration for the logo came from his grandmother’s beadwork and art. Conrad took elements from the original logo, and infused aspects that reflect his Cree/Metis heritage. He sought to represent something that is truly local, and displays growth and prosperity.
In honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day this month, we have printed a limited-batch of reusable tote bags with Conrad’s beautiful artwork. These bags will be available for purchase at the Market, starting this Saturday, September 30th. $5 from the sale of each bag will be donated to the Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society and Native Counselling Services of Alberta to support our Indigenous community.
