Originally from south west China, Soma Mo started making jewelry after immigrating to Edmonton. She makes everything out of her love for her traditional culture.
She started beading jewelry, combined with some traditional accessories, then tried changing the traditional look of regular beading techniques. In 2014, she went to south west China bordering with Tibet to study traditional silver smithing. All tools used are hand tools, no electric tools are used.
Her unique, eye-catching, and modern jewelry designs feature silver, crystal, stone, pearl, and glass beads.
