Sunworks Farm is the home of Ron and Sheila Hamilton and Isaac Fregoso, located near Armena, AIberta.

We are guided by our values and strongly believe in the principals of organic and holistic agriculture, as well as the importance of ethical/humane handling of all creatures, including our farm animals.

In the Summer, our chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese are raised free range on pasture with shelters that are moved daily onto fresh grass. The birds have lots of room to run while still having the shelters to give them shade from the sun and protection from the rain. In the winter, the birds are raised inside to protect them from the cold. They are given lots of room to move around and express natural behaviors in barns with lots of natural sunlight.

Our laying hens are raised free range in shelters that are moved daily onto fresh grass in the summer. In the winter, the hens are brought inside and given lots of space to run around and fed certified organic grains. The eggs are large and brown with nice yellow yolks that are filled with goodness.

Our beef is 100 % grass finished. Our cattle are time controlled grazed in the summer and fed organic hay in the winter.

Our pigs are raised on the pasture, free to eat the grass and be in the fresh air and sunshine.

All of our sausages, bacon, hams and deli meats contain only certified organic meat, certified organic spices and certified organic maple syrup or honey. We believe that you should know exactly what you’re eating without having to get out the dictionary or be a chemist. All of our specialty meats are Celiac safe and common allergen free.
