David Detz Designs
David Detz is proud to be at the Old Strathcona Farmers Market, where he can showcase his fashion jewelry and personally meet the customers.
Each piece of David Detz jewelry is an original work of art. All the jewelry is handmade by David himself, from the first design sketches to the finished products. They are handformed in clay and kiln fired to high temperatures. Glazes, 22k gold and hand painted acrylics complete the design process. Austrian crystals and beads add the finishing touch.
David has won many awards for creative original designs in both Canada and the U.S. His work has been sold in Canada's premier luxury jewelry store chains across the country, as well as department stores, boutiques and galleries in North America and abroad. The biggest U.S. theme park and resort company featured David's designs in its parks and hotels. David has had articles published in magazines as well as conducting design seminars in Canada and the U.S.
David considers jewelry to be an accessible art form. New designs are created each week. These are not only inspired by fashion, but by artistic creativity....a process that never stops.
David hopes his customers have as much enjoyment wearing each piece of jewelry and receiving compliments, as he had in its design and creation.
