Q: Where can I find parking and how much will it cost?
Answer: We have large parking lot directly across Gateway Boulevard with free customer parking on Saturdays from 8am-3pm.

Q: Is the Market wheelchair accessible? 
Answer
: Yes, our market is wheelchair accessible. 

Q: Are there ATM machines on the property?
Answer
: Yes, there are 4 ATMs near the concession seating area. Find them on the map.

Q: Is my pet allowed in the Market?
Answer
: Sorry, but because the Market has so many food products, the Health Department does not permit pets.  

Q: Does the Market have a Lost & Found?  Where is it?
Answer
: Yes, please visit the Info Booth.

Q: Who owns the Farmers Market?
Answer
: The City of Edmonton owns the building, but the Old Strathcona Market Society operates the Market as a non-profit organization.

Q: How do I find contact information for other Farmers' Markets?
Answer
: Alberta Agriculture administers the Approved Farmers' Market Program and maintains a province-wide directory here.

Q: Is alcohol served at the Market?
Answer
: No, although we do have a vendor who sells wine.

Q: How do I become a vendor at the Market?
Answer
: Fill out our Vendor Application form.

Q: Is there anything for my kids at the Market?
Answer: Yes! The Market is very family oriented! We have buskers, snacks and gifts appropriate for children. 

Q: Do the vendors accept credit cards?
Answer
: Some do, most don't. If not we have ATMs.

Q: Does the Farmers Market offer gift certificates?
Answer: Yup, in $10 denominations, good at any Market merchant. They're available at the Info Booth and they make simply delightful gifts. Cash only please.

Q: Is entertainment offered at the Market?
Answer
: Yes! We have a variety of buskers that play throughout the market each Saturday.
