Are pets permitted at the Market?

Sorry, no pets are allowed inside the Market building, with the exception of trained service animals with valid credentials.

What are OSFM's hours?

The Market is open to customers

  • Saturday: 8am to 3pm

Market office hours are:

  • Tues-Thurs: 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Friday: 9 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM – 2:30 PM

Is there free parking?

Customers can enjoy 2 hours of free parking in the OSFM parking lot on Saturdays during market hours. The lot is located across Gateway Blvd, just east of the Market building.

Is there a bike path to the Market? And bike rack when I get there?

Yes, a bike path runs down 83 Ave. from the University to Mill Creek Ravine and beyond. There are multiple bike racks around the building.

When is the best time of day to visit the Market?

If we have activities or live entertainment planned, they often start around 10am

If you’re looking for times that are less busy, try

  • 8am to 9am
  • 1:30pm to 3pm (the selection may not be as good, however!)

How do I find vendors? Is there a map of the market?

You can find a map of the market with vendor locations on the Find a Vendor page under the “Market Map” tab

  • Virtually browse aisles
  • Search by product or vendor name

Does OSFM sell gift certificates?

OSFM has what we call “Market Bucks” which are sold as $5, $10, and $20 “bills.” They are accepted by all OSFM vendors.

You can purchase Market Bucks at the Info Booth during market hours. For inquiries outside of  market hours, you can contact us during office hours.

Do you offer free wifi?

Yes, we do have free wifi for visitors – look for the OSFM guest network

Is there a Lost and Found?

Lost items should be handed in to our Info Booth near the washrooms for safekeeping.

Visitors who may have lost something can visit the Info Booth or call 780.439.1844 to check if their belongings have been found.

We only hold lost items for 30 days, then they are donated to a local community group.

Is the Market accessible to wheelchairs and strollers?

Yes, of course! While we don’t provide wheelchairs, we are fully accessible and each bathroom has an accessible stall.

Can I be a part-time vendor?

We accept part-time vendors upon approval of dates and events selected. Complete our online vendor application here
